Sigourney-Keota boys’ wrestling got their season started by winning three duals Thursday night. SK defeated Baxter 54-17 before knocking off Montezuma 40-34 and topping Pekin 66-12.

Junior Jacob Libe led Sigourney-Keota with a perfect 3-0 night at 157 pounds, winning by pin in all of his bouts. Sophomore Brycen Horras won twice by fall at 126 lbs, while freshman Dillon Menke debuted with a pin and a 13-0 victory by major decision at 138.

SK also got pins to win from senior Dawson Meyer at 144; senior Brady Clark at 157; junior Wells Clark at 165; senior Ashton Schwab at 175; and junior Owen Menke at 285. Sigourney-Keota is competing this weekend at the Jeremy Fulk Classic in Wapello.
