Success on the biggest stage this fall has led to the highest recognition for Hillcrest Academy cross country standout Marie Yoder. The sophomore Raven runner has been named to the Class 1A Elite All-State team by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Yoder earned a bid to the State meet by finishing as runner-up at the 1A Pleasantville Qualifier, in a school record setting time of 19:15. At Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge, she placed eighth in the 1A field, second best finish in school history.
