The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) Board of Directors recently approved nearly $10 million in grants to aid in housing development and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. The awards include a total of nearly $6 million in grants across the state to 30 homeless services agencies to enhance supportive services, nonprofit operations and capacity building. The Domestic Violence Intervention Program of Johnson County, which also serves Washington County, was awarded $150,000 in Services, $30,000 in Operating, and $45,000 in Capacity funds.
