The Highland Huskies made Senior Night a special one by winning a home girls’ basketball battle Tuesday with Cedar Valley Christian 53-4. The Highland girls dominated on defense, jumping out to a 31-2 lead by halftime.

Sophomore Hailey Brun led the Huskies with 14 points and nine steals, while senior Katie Herrig hit three three-point shots on her way to 11 points and three steals.

Junior Mackenzie Davis and freshman Kamryn Fink added six points each and combined to pull down 22 rebounds as Highland wins its third straight and improves to 10-4. The Huskies are back in action tomorrow night against Columbus.
