The Washington Community School District is exploring the idea of a four-day school week and invited the public to a meeting to discuss the possibility. The public meeting was held Wednesday night in the High School Auditorium. There was a presentation on the benefits and challenges of a four-day school week, as well as a question session. The attendees were broken into groups with an administrator and school board member to answer questions, and have discussions. The School Board will be discussing the topic at their next meeting on February 12th to decide on the next steps for the district.
