The drought conditions in Iowa are unchanged from last week. Iowa is experiencing severe drought in 1.3% of the state, 57% is in moderate drought, and nearly 80% is abnormally dry. Back in October, the state was in worse conditions with 19% in severe drought and 100% abnormally dry. 

A year ago at this time, the state was very dry as 96% of Iowa was abnormally dry and 24% being in extreme drought conditions.
