The drought in Iowa continues with most of the state somewhat dry. 80% of Iowans are in a drought, which has not changed from last week. About 1.3% of the state is in a severe drought. Around this same time last year, 93% of Iowa was in a drought, with 56% in a severe drought.

Washington County is dry with 90% of the county in a drought of some kind,and only 9% of the county not in a drought. Just three months ago, the county saw 100% drought conditions.
