KCII spoke with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley this week, and asked his opinion on President Donald Trump’s cabinet picks, “I have voted for every one of them, and I don’t know any so far that I am not going to vote for. I think they are well qualified people, some of them are very controversial. Some of them were picked to make sure that we don’t continue business as usual in the executive branch of government here in Washington DC, or wherever there is an executive branch around the country. That was one of the mandates of the election is that people who voted for Trump expected change, and I think he’s appointed a lot of people that will shake up the way that things have been done in Washington. So this is to challenge the status quo, and I guess I’m a person who feels like the Justice Department, the FBI, and some things in the State Department, and in the CIA need to be turned upside down.” As of Wednesday, ten of the President’s picks have yet to be confirmed including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Health and Human Services.
