The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Region 7 is launching a “drive sober” campaign this weekend leading up to the big game. NHTSA is partnering with law enforcement throughout Region 7, which includes Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

This year’s campaign is called “Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk” and encourages anyone celebrating the big game to coordinate a sober ride home, whether that be designating a driver, using public transportation or a ride service, or simply not consuming alcohol. Area law enforcement agencies will be on high alert for drunk drivers this weekend, especially Sunday night.
