Golden Hawk head coach Danny Hershberger spoke on Tuesday’s KCII postgame show about the keys tonight.

Hershberger said, “We have to make those little plays it takes to win a game. We talk about toughness a lot. We have to be tough with the basketball. We have to be tough mentally. You have to be willing to accept that you’re going to have someone guard you physically, they’re going to be scrapping, and you have to deal with it and take care of the ball anyway. That mental toughness it takes to grind games out against a tough conference opponent.”

The Hawks last win over Regina came in 2018.
