The Washington Public Library is bringing back a fan-favorite free event for Fiber Arts February. Librarian LeAnn Kunz shares what the event entails, ” The Recycled Runway event is a program for students in grades 5th through 12th that is scheduled for Friday, February 14th, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The program challenges participants to create pieces of clothing using mostly recycled materials, often pages of old books. Traditionally, there has been a fashion show after the challenge to showcase the recycled creations.
