Head coach Dwight Gingerich joined this week’s KCII Radio Coaches Corner to talk about the four seniors.

Gingerich said, “I was glad to see folks come out and support these guys. Great group of seniors, Bryce Bailey, Mason Bender, Mason Helmuth and Seth Ours. Four buddies, they have a good time together and it always helps a team when guys are friends. Those guys spend a lot of time together. You can tell when they play, they enjoy playing together. They have been really important cogs in the machine here. They have logged a ton of minutes for us and have been really good people to coach. Great leaders for our team. It was a great night to celebrate them and their families.”

Hillcrest is now 19-3 on the season as Rivermont falls to 4-8. Hillcrest is next on the court Monday when they open up the Class 1A District Tournament hosting Central City.

The Ravens honored seniors Mason Bender, Mason Helmuth Bryce Bailey and Seth Ours with a ceremony before the game.
