The Hillcrest Academy girls golf team scored their first win of the season, beating the visiting WACO Warriors in a Friday Southeast Iowa Superconference dual in Kalona. The Ravens put together a team score of 248, beating the Warriors by 17. WACO’s Morgan Meyer had the medalist round of 57. Claire Withrow was medalist runner-up with a 59. Other Hillcrest scores included Ava Miller with a 59, Brynna O’Rourke at 60, Natalie Meganathan 70 and Izzy Frederick 71. For WACO, Shanae Riley and Gracie Cardenas shot 66, Taryn Elston 76 and Madison Miller 78.
