Those thinking about investing or just wanting to know more about managing finance have an opportunity to learn how tonight. Kalona Library Director Anne Skaden says this is class that is geared toward first time investors, those preparing for retirement and those who are retired. She says those attending “Smart Investing at Your Library” will go to the first class in person, will study at their own pace and finish Monday, May 23rd.
Skaden says Kalona is one of 25 libraries across the state that is offering this class. She adds the class is funded by a grant from the State Library of Iowa by the Finra Investor Education Foundation and The American Library Association.
The class starts at 6:00 tonight at the Kalona Public Library.
