Washington School District staff has an opportunity to see how area businesses work this afternoon.  For the second year in a row, Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen has arranged for teachers to tour area manufacturers.

These tours are a great example of working to increase the understanding between education and employers by staff learning about job opportunities and the classroom teaching needed to meet the work force needs.

The tours of ACH Foam, Premier 1, Modine Manufacturing and Whitesell Corporation are part of the staff’s Professional Development held twice each month.
