The Lone Tree football team landed seven players on the first team all-district list, and had the offensive MVP.

Gabe Lorack was named the class A district five offensive MVP, Lorack was 56-80 passing with 1001 yards, 15 touchdowns and just one interception. He also led the team in rushing with 560 yards on 55 carries and 10 touchdowns.

Head coach Regan Stone said Lorack as been a huge part of not just the team but the program itself.

“Gabe was just a very dynamic player for us, this season, and for the last three years, and I think the district coaches recognize that and appreciate that,” Stone said. “He’s contribution to our program, not just as a senior, but for the last three years, and I can’t begin to tell you how important he was to our program.”

On the first team, Bryan Forbes made it for wide receiver with 475 yards and five touchdowns,  Logan Forbes for offensive Line, and Jordan Quigley for offensive line.

On defense, Kody Icenogle made it for defensive line with 41 tackles, and seven for a loss. Others were Colin Gibson at linebacker with 36 tackles, four for a loss and a sack, he also had four fumble recoveries and an interception. Also on the list are Lucas Siverding at defensive back with one interception that he returned 96 yards for a touchdown, and a fumble recovery, and also at defensive back Andy Dodson with 35 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.

On the second team for Lone Tree they had two athletes, with Levi Saterfield and Matt Wieland, and their honorable mentions were Riley Stumpf, Trenton Gosnell, Ty Robertson, Alex Yedlik, and Travis Gillham.

Lone Tree was second in the district with a 6-1 district record.
