Mary Swander, co-founder and executive director of AgArts, presents the Bad Poetry Contest. The entry fee is $10 and the deadline for submission is January 15th. A prize of $100 and a handmade leather belt will be awarded to the winner. Winning poems will be broadcast on the Buggy Land podcast. Bad Poetry Contest rules include: your poem must be bad, limited to 100 words, include the phrases “A cat yowling on a back fence” and “a buzzard on a dead horse”   and must be posted on the website www.agarts.org.
