City of Kalona Fall Cleanup is Saturday, October 29th from 9a.m. to noon. The event is free of charge and open to only Kalona residents. Those who participate must unload all of their items into the dumpsters at the City Shop 711 A Avenue in Kalona. You are to enter the area through the east gate. Banned materials include yard waste, tires, electronics, appliances, or oil and lead based batteries.
