Jefferson County Conservation is hosting a night of catching, tagging and releasing monarch butterflies. The event will begin at 6 p.m Tuesday September 14th at Zilman’s Hickory Hills. Participants will help researchers tag, record information and release monarch butterflies to help learn more about their migration. Nets and tags will be provided and participants are asked to wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Pre-registration is not required and the event is free of charge.
