The Oakland Mills Nature Center will be hosting a camping preparation program on Thursday, July 23 from 6:30-7:00 p.m. This event will teach kids essential camping skills like fire starting, knot tying, campsite cooking, and more. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Participants are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket. The event will be moved inside in the event of inclement weather. This program is free for kids and their parents to attend.
