The second half of the KCII Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour is set to get started with a bang. Join us as the Big Red Radio heads to Wayland’s Annual 4th of July Celebration! We’ve got two big events today as we visit Wayland and Wellman! For more info on the Wellman festivities head over to their event page in the Summer Town Tour promotions page!
The day is packed with events all over town and gets started at 6:30 a.m. at the Wayland Community Center with a breakfast put together by the Wayland Lions Clubs. Walk off the pancakes and sausage during the Walk for the Wetlands that starts at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall.
Tractors, horses, floats, and more are invited to show their spirit during the parade at 9:30 a.m.
At 1 p.m. cool off with water games at the Wellman Fire Station.
The day will finish off with a firework display put together by the Wayland Volunteer Fire Department at WACO High School.
