The Washington County Cattlemen’s scholarship program is offering a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior. Requirement include being a Washington County resident, parents being a Washington County Cattlemen’s member or if living outside the country, the applicant’s parents must be WCCA members. The award recipient must be majoring in an agricultural field. The Cattlemen will be selecting a beef queen and princess. Requirements include an interest in beef cattle production, parents being involved with beef production, a willingness to promote beef as well as attend school in the Washington County area.
